Terms of service
These terms apply to every Volgo offer. A Custom quote can add to them in writing.
1. Payment
- The one-time fee is paid 50% when you order and 50% before the site goes live.
- Add-ons are paid when ordered. Yearly add-ons (own domain) are paid each year in advance.
- Prices are final, in Moroccan dirhams. No tax is added.
- You keep the price you paid. Later price changes apply to new orders only.
- The one-time fee is not refundable once the site is live.
2. Launch
- You provide your logo, menu or flyers, photos, and for each branch its address, phone, WhatsApp number, opening hours and delivery fees.
- The launch time starts when Volgo has everything it needs.
- You review a preview before launch. The site goes live once you approve it.
3. Menu updates
- Corrections: unlimited for 30 days after launch, for anything that does not match what you provided.
- One update is one batch of changes sent in a single message: prices, names, descriptions, hours, or adding or removing up to 10 items.
- A new category with new photos, or a change of design, is quoted separately.
- Updates are done within 72 hours, on working days.
- The yearly allowance runs from your launch date. Unused updates do not carry over.
4. Your content
- You are responsible for your prices, availability, descriptions and allergen information being correct.
- You keep the rights to your logo, photos and texts. You allow Volgo to show them on your site, on volgo.app and in Volgo’s portfolio.
- You may use the photos Volgo prepares for you (cut-outs, photo sessions) anywhere for your restaurant.
- The website, its design system and its code belong to Volgo. You may use them for as long as your site is active with Volgo, or under a Custom self-hosting licence.
5. Orders
- Orders go directly from the customer’s phone to your WhatsApp. Volgo is not part of the sale.
- You handle confirmation, payment, delivery and any dispute with your customers.
- Delivery fees shown on the site are indicative. The final fee is the one you confirm on WhatsApp.
6. Hosting and fair use
- Hosting is included while Volgo offers the service.
- Volgo works to keep sites online at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Hosting covers normal restaurant use. If a site’s use is far beyond that (automated traffic, a large chain), Volgo will contact you and may propose a Custom offer.
- Volgo may change hosting terms with 3 months’ notice, and not within 3 years of your launch date.
7. Your address
- Your site lives at
yourrestaurant.volgo.app. Names are given first come, first served.
- If your name is already taken, your city is added (
yourrestaurant-marrakech.volgo.app).
- Some names are reserved by Volgo, including city names and technical names.
- Your address (
yourrestaurant.volgo.app) belongs to Volgo. You can use it for as long as your site is active.
- Own domain (add-on): registered in your name and renewed by Volgo while you pay the yearly fee. Your
yourrestaurant.volgo.app address keeps working alongside it.
8. Volgo link and directory
- Every site ends with a “Powered by Volgo” line linking to volgo.app. Removing it is a Custom option.
- Your restaurant is listed in your city’s directory on volgo.app. You can ask to be removed at any time.
- Volgo never takes a commission on orders placed through your site.
- Volgo may later offer optional paid services on volgo.app (for example, featured placement). They will never be required to keep your site.
9. Panel accounts (Menu Pro)
- The owner creates and removes staff accounts and is responsible for the changes made with them.
- Remove an account as soon as a staff member leaves.
10. Customer data
- Volgo does not store your customers’ orders, names, addresses or locations. They go from the customer’s phone straight to your WhatsApp.
- Statistics are anonymous counts (visits, orders sent, items ordered), with no personal data.
- You are responsible for the customer data you receive on WhatsApp, under Moroccan law 09-08 on personal data protection.
11. Support
- Support is on WhatsApp, with a reply within 24 hours on working days.
- A site that is down is fixed as a priority.
12. Ending the service
- You can stop using Volgo at any time. On request, Volgo sends you your menu data and photos within 14 days.
- When your site is closed, its
yourrestaurant.volgo.app address and QR codes stop working.
- Volgo may suspend a site that shows illegal content, or whose fees are unpaid, after notice on WhatsApp.
- If Volgo stops the service, it gives you 6 months’ notice and sends you your menu data and photos.
13. Changes to these terms
- Volgo announces changes on WhatsApp at least 30 days before they apply.
- A change never removes something you already paid for during the period it covers.
14. Liability
- Volgo’s total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the last 12 months.
- Volgo is not liable for lost orders or income caused by an outage, a wrong price you provided, or a WhatsApp or internet failure.
15. Law
- These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Disputes go to the courts of Tangier.
